Natural Stone
Natural stone is created when one or more minerals consolidate into a solid formation, creating a stone block, by natural processes. To make countertops, the stone blocks are removed from the quarry, cut into 2cm and 3cm slabs. From there they can be honed, polished or leathered depending on the material. Natural stones include granite, quartzite, marble, limestone, soapstone, marble, onyx, and dolomite.
Quartz
Quartz countertops are engineered stone surfaces. They combine the best of natural stone with modern manufacturing processes. This results in a surface that's comparable (and often superior) in beauty to granite and marble while offering greater durability. Manufacturers include: Silestone, Viatera, Hanstone, Pental, Emerstone, MSI, Cambria, etc.
Solid Wood Surfaces
Solid wood countertops and solid wood surfaces are crafted from a virtual forest of wood choices and an array of edge profiles, and design options. Grothouse butcher block countertops are sealed with Grothouse Original Oil™️ finish and perfect for an aesthetic and functional food preparation surface. John Boos butcher block countertops can be ordered with a natural finish or sealed with Varnique. These solid wood countertops make a great addition to any kitchen, laundry room, or bar.
TrueForm Concrete
TrueForm Concrete is the first and only system that replicates wood with a sustainable lightweight composite concrete. WoodForm has the look and feel of wood without the worry of wood, providing a beautiful, resilient, adaptable option. It is rapidly becoming a must-have, and is considered the "New Butcher Block".
Formica
Formica Laminates come in fashion-forward solid colors and nature-inspired patterns; also available are Ideal Edge profiles, which achieve a finished edge on all countertops. Formica Solid Surfacing products offer many design options, such as edging and inlays, as well as exceptional durability and beauty.
From Our Customers
“Remodeling is an expensive venture and as a customer you want to get it perfect. I've worked with Jill on two bathrooms, a large laundry/mudroom, and a full kitchen. She has guided me every step of the way. She is knowledgeable about products and contractor processes, is very detail oriented (super important when half an inch can make such a difference), creative and customer focused. She is a terrific designer, not only because she 'knows her stuff', but she listens to the client, provides valuable solutions, and responds to questions or dilemmas right away. Besides that, she is a delightful person and fun to work with. We may have to move to a new house so I can continue working with her!”
