For those that follow the construction and remodeling accounts on Instagram, G-Tapes is no secret. We were intrigued by seeing the constant stream of good feedback about the product on social media. We took a stab at it and become New Jersey’s first stocking dealer of the G-Tape line of pressure sensitive tapes. Word caught on that our stock inventory arrived on Thursday and rolls of it have been flying off the shelves ever since. So what the hell is it?
Nichigo G-Tape™ is an innovative pressure-sensitive tape which is hand tearable and leaves little or no residue on the surface. Nichigo G-Tape™ can even be removed from itself and reused unlike standard duct tapes. Nichigo G-Tape™ does not leave any residue on hands unlike conventional butyl tape in the construction market.
Made from a polyethylene based flat yarn substrate, Nichigo G-Tape™ boasts a higher tensile strength and dimensional stability than conventional gaffer tapes or duct tapes. Highly weather resistant, hand tearable and water proof tape. All these features improve your productivity and quality in the construction industry. We see G-Tape being a great fit where you don’t want to leave a sticky tape residue, as a substitute for Vycor window flashing, to wrap joists or beams on a treated framed deck or wrap wood posts prior to setting below grade or in concrete. Its a neat line that has a lot of excitement built up behind it. See Butch or Pat in Hardware for more information.
